The highly anticipated sixth and final season was unfortunately derailed when Odenkirk suffered a heart attack, but the actor has now made a full recovery and is back on set. The series brings back notable Breaking Bad alum like Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), Gus Fring (Giancarlo Esposito), and Hank Schrader (Dean Norris), while also introducing equally memorable new characters like Chuck McGill (Michael McKean), Howard Hamlin (Patrick Fabian), Nacho Varga (Michael Mando), and Lalo Salamanca (Tony Dalton). Over five seasons, Better Call Saul has chronicled Jimmy McGill's slow descent into his titular alter ego alongside his fellow lawyer and love interest Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehorn). Since premiering on the same network in 2015, the spin-off has earned similar critical acclaim as its parent series, garnering a total of 39 Primetime Emmy nominations, compared to Breaking Bad's 58. Better Call Saul focuses on Bob Odenkirk's swindler turned criminal lawyer, Jimmy McGill, also professionally known as Saul Goodman, and serves as a prequel to AMC's smash hit series Breaking Bad. New behind-the-scenes images from Better Call Saul season 6 hype the show's creative camera angles and filming.
